Sono un appassionato del mitico motocarro della Piaggio da sempre, e all'inizio del 2002 ho iniziato il lavoro di restauro a un Ape 500 (telaio AD1T*69523) prodotto e immatricolato nel 1967, regalatomi da un conoscente che se ne doveva disfare.
Parlare di Ape è parlare di una storia italiana, nata dalla genialità del progettista aeronautico di nome Corradino d'Ascanio e dalla lungimiranza di Enrico Piaggio oltre mezzo secolo fa.
