The "Star Wars" creator celebrated the opening of his new Presidio office campus with a lavish picnic for 2, 000 well-connected friends that included California's two U.S.. The center is arguably the most significant development to open in San Francisco since the Giants christened their waterfront ballpark in 2000, giving South of Market a new identity.

Frankly speaking George Lucas has NO business at the Presidio of San Francisco building any huge complex like the Letterman Digital Arts Center which given the name is a contradiction in terms.. In short this Letterman Digital Arts Center deal does not do the Park any justice.. The Letterman Digital Arts Center is a bad project that will produce very bad memories.
